Things to Do

Creebridge House Hotel’s location allows for a number of leisure-time pursuits, from golf at the local course some 400 yards away; fishing on the Bladnoch, Minnoch and Cree rivers; walking, mountain biking or star-gazing in the Galloway Forest Park; pony trekking; clay pigeon shooting; bird watching at nearby Reserves; or setting up an easel to capture the beautiful Scottish scenery around Newton Stewart.

Galloway is also home to a number of fascinating Festivals: from the Wigtown Book Festival in September; the regionwide open studios event Spring Fling; Newton Stewart Walking Festival in May; Savour the Flavours – a fortnight of food events; Kirkcudbright Jazz Festival; Dumfries & Galloway Arts Festival; and many more.

We are just over an hour’s drive from Ayr’s famous racecourse and regularly arrange special weekends to correspond with major race meetings. Please contact us for further information.

Your hosts, Steve, Sarah, Rory, Campbell and the rest of the team look forward to welcoming you to the Creebridge House Hotel and to help make your stay a memorable and enjoyable occasion. Our staff will be at your beck & call should you require any form of assistance while you stay with us.
